You can access a range of preventative care, support for long-term conditions, and clinical advice — without the need for a GP appointment. 

Many NHS pharmacy services are free and available to everyone who meets specific criteria. You may be eligible if you:

• Are registered with a GP in England.
• Fall into a high-risk group (e.g. over 65s, people with chronic conditions, pregnant women).
• Are starting or currently taking long-term medications.
• Are undergoing supervised substance treatment.
• Meet clinical guidelines for specific treatments.
